SECTION I: WEBLOCK FOR KIDS

The free version of Weblock For Kids (the Software) may be distributed freely in its original form. You may install the free version of the Software on any computer you own or have permission to install on.

The full version of The Software is licensed for the exclusive use of the original purchaser only. It may not be distributed to additional parties.

The Software is a kids-safe browser that allows access only to websites that are approved by the parent. Large icons on the homepage allows your child to easily find the links to their favorite websites. The software allows the ability to customize the child's homepage with included artwork, custom colors or your own images. "Kid Mode" allows easy browsing with three simple commands: Back, Forward and Home. The software can be run as a Kiosk application to prevent access to your computer and other programs, as it requires a password to exit Kid Mode, which can also limit browsing sessions and keeps browsing logs. The Software can be configured to open as a Kiosk Application at startup, creating a safe web environment as soon as your computer is turned on. The parent can create multiple profiles with separate websites, homepage and settings for each child. Clicking on advertisements is prevented, and many advertisements are blocked completely using a built in list of ad servers.

The Software is an external browser that does not change any computer settings. By default settings within the browser, it will launch upon restart. This setting can easily be changed by accessing the Preferences section within the browser. The Software will place icons on the desktop upon installation.

In order to uninstall the software, the user should click Start → Weblock For Kids → Weblock For Kids Uninstall. An alternative way is to click Start → Control Panel → Programs → Uninstall a program → Weblock For Kids. Please click here for more help.
